Website Wednesday: The Creative Classroom Academy

by Kristie Burk

Dr. MacNeal recently shared this great website called The Creative Classroom Academy. The website was started when two educators wanted to create a space to equip educators to “boost creativity and spark innovation” in every classroom.

The website currently offers 20 free courses to spark creativity on topics such as Maximizing Student Engagement with Flow Theory, Increasing Peer Feedback, The Complete Guide to Genius Hour, and more.

There are also four free resources: The Authentic Assessment toolkit, Student Blogging toolkit, the Creative Classroom toolkit, and Five Creative Alternatives to Doing Homework.

Founder John Spencer was a former middle school teacher and is now a Professor of Educational Technology in Oregon; founder A.J. Juliani is an Instructional Technology Specialist in Upper Perk, PA.
