Teachers can use educational technology to enhance learning, to improve motivation and engagement, to increase accessibility, to individualize instruction, and to improve communication. In this course, you will learn ideas and skills for integrating technology effectively into your teaching. You will learn tools to help you with the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards for Teachers, including:
- designing and developing digital age learning experiences and assessments
- modeling digital age work and learning
- promoting digital citizenship and responsibility
We’ll be looking at new presentation tools, Google Apps for Education, Twitter, formative assessment tools, and content-rich Web sites. By the end of our time together, you’ll have a treasure of ideas for integrating all types of technology into your lesson plans across the curriculum!
Students can register for this course starting now until May 29. The University of Arts Registration Office can be reached at 215.717.6006. A minimum of 9 students is required to run this course. Please call the University for tuition information.
